It had been nearly a year since I last doven into an investing book. As time goes on, the emphasis shifts from reading investing books to analyzing 10-Ks. Nonetheless, I had long wanted to read “One Up on Wall Street,” and I’m incredibly grateful that I finally did. It has quickly become my favorite investing book, offering realistic, practical, and ingenious investment advice. I especially appreciated Peter Lynch’s categorization of companies into six distinct types: slow growers, stalwarts, fast growers, turnarounds, asset plays, and cyclicals.
