While challenging to acquire, this book should form a cornerstone of any value investor’s philosophy. The Margin of Safety guides me whenever I engage in portfolio management and evaluate the opportunity costs among securities. I read it during a trip to Hawaii, an experience almost as unforgettable as swimming with turtles. While I highly recommend reading it, I advise against paying the exorbitant price for a personal copy—instead, try leveraging your network to borrow a copy if possible.
